Rain renews and provides sustenance for all forms of life
Rain is the driving force behind the Kalahari ecosystem. After decent rains, there is a veritable explosion of life as edible grasses, flowers, shrubs, and flowering trees transform the reserve, in turn providing sustenance for other forms of life. Not for nothing is this semi-arid wonderland often referred to as the Green Kalahari.
