Malori
Malori, meaning ‘dreamer’ in Setswana, is an authentic under-canvas experience, providing panoramic views of rolling dunes and the vast veld stretching to the horizon. Spending a night in the heart of the reserve allows guests to appreciate the vastness and grandeur of the dramatic landscapes of the southern Kalahari. Malori is also one of the best locations on the reserve to witness breathtaking Kalahari sunsets and sunrises.
Accommodation consists of a classic safari tent elevated above the dunes. The tent is illuminated by soft, romantic lantern light, as there is no electricity. It features two comfortable twin beds. For families, two smaller camp stretchers suitable for children can be added. Behind the tent, a walkway leads to an outdoor bathroom that is open to the sky. Facilities include a flush toilet, basin, and a hand-held shower.
